Hmmm...not sure I get Cartier-Bresson's meaning here. I would like to read it in context.
Mythopolis, I think he was talking about cameras like the Leica taking over the photo world, since they rendered such sharp images, which left little to photographic interpretation. But I could be wrong about that.
