Doesn't Taste Like Chicken

A few important updates for today...

I got the 3G in the mail. Yay! I can hardly wait. I also got the macro tubes, the wide angle (but I had one of those already) and the telephoto adapter. I really, really wanted one of those. For like years. Help me, I so wanted a telephoto lensbaby and now I'm finally close to getting one. (Well, I'm there only I've got tubes and not an actual telephoto lens but it's all the same warm, glowy lensbaby happiness to me.)

They had some food pimping going on today and, somehow, I ended up with an entire tray of leftover Macaroni Grill pasta with chicken. Don't get me wrong, I love food, and especially that of the "free" variety but, after three helpings, I'm getting more than a little sick and tired of pasta with chicken. Isn't chicken one of those things they tell you you're eating when they poison you? "Go on, eat it," they say, "it tastes like chicken..." (Ugh!)

The ice has finally started to melt in Austin. Now there are just sheets of ice flying off of cars as they drive by and large chunks of the stuff falling off of odd places-places like bridges-that can impale one if one were none too careful. I almost got crushed under the weight of the melting 360 bridge today. (Yipes!)

American Idol has started yet again. Isn't that a show we all love to hate (or is it hate to love?) I really wish they would stop picking on geeks though. Ever since Clay Aiken, they've been on this strange "anti-geek" crusade for some reason.

Hey, I'm willing to bet Simon can't code worth a damn and I'd pay to see him try to use Photoshop, wouldn't you?

Until next time...

American Idol is one of those "guilty pleasures" I partake of on television.

And those "geeks" getting mocked make the rest of us geeks look bad!

I'm so into AI it's not even funny.

This time around tho, they say there are no standout candidates. It's going to be anybody's ballgame.

We'll see.
